Greetings! I know the it has been ages since I last blogged, however that just reflects how time flies as my last post was during April, which is almost half a year gone!

Some highlights during May this year: I went to the SEA Aquarium with my new "re-shuffled" class! It's good to take time off once in a while especially when you're managing with numerous commitments & responsibilities. I'm not complaining or whatsoever, just felt blessed with such opportunity to do so! Pretty much events to attend from ACE Programme as usual! Other than that, trying to adapt towards how I can further contribute towards the community in my volunteer work in NYC-YCM Project. Most importantly, I even had the chance to travel to China (Beijing, Zhengzhou & Guangzhou) for the 2nd APEC Youth Skills Camp which allows me to gain more knowledge on how other countries have invented in their youth education systems to further enhance their technologies & many more! A memorable 10 days trip which also marks my first-time taking a bullet train abroad!

What about June? I graduated from the six months US Embassy Alumni Mentoring Programme which started since January this year. The lessons held at different well-known Singapore US-based companies have really taught me a lot especially on Public Speaking which I'm trying to work on! In addition, Camp Ignite was also executed after months of hard planning and rehearsaling for the actual camp! I'll never forget the confidence I've wore and the passion to share about the 3 habits (Personal Victory) of out the 7 habits of Highly Effective Habits of Teens by Stephen Covey during the leadership workshop! Fairfield Girls' did well during Teen Games this year too! We claimed Champions for the U21 Category! We've definitely came a long way & it's all worthwhile to see how much we've grown as a team!

Following on.. July! Flew to Taiwan, Taipei for the 4th Asia Pacific Tchoukball Championships with the Womens' Team! We managed to secure our placing of 1st Runner Up as usual! It was definitely a great match put up against the Taiwanese' Team! Ohya! ACE Induction for our new batch of ACE juniors was also held during this month! I was so glad to see the new faces of potential & inspiring story waiting to be revealed one day! The desire of them to seek more knowledge and understand themselves better through the enrichments & opportunities provided by ACE Programme! At the same time, not forgetting to manage & to prioritise appropriately!

August, where all the project submission, presentations, preparations for our end-semester exams comes! STRESS LEVEL INCREASES RAPIDLY! When you're "stressed" have some "desserts"! It might helps to lower your anxiety level keke! That probably explains why I always gain weight during this period of time! Ahhhh, time to kick off this bad habit! August 2014 will also be remembered deeply in my mind, as I had the honour & privilege to be present during the National Day Rally, Youth Time Dialogue with PM Lee Hsien Loong where I was able to present my fellow ITE mates concerns today to the politicians present, Post-National Day Rally Dialogue where I was given another great opportunity to present to PM Lee & the other guests present! Asia Pacific Youth Tchoukball Championships was also held in Singapore this year! It was an eye-opener for me to be able to be part of the liaising team (for the 6 taiwanese' teams), closing ceremony & the stage crew of the Gala Dinner held at the end!
This month? September! Finished my last paper on 11 September! I believed I've gave my best & I'm just praying for the best as well! 2014 have also marked the 7th year of me, KaiLi, Melody & YaXin since 2008. It is indeed my blessings to have them around & we've definitely enjoyed that lavish dinner during KaiLi's belated birthday celebration at Rider's Cafe!

So.. What am I looking forward to right now before the new semester begins?
Going back to my secondary school to share about my life journey/education path which I've chosen! Sharing to the new ACE Induction for April Intakes 2014 next month end! ACE Graduation for the January Intakes 2013 that will be held during November! Providing mentorship for the YCM Grant Applicants! Greater money management! Hosting the HR Industry Talk during the first week of school! The upcoming YCM Retreat! Last but not least, the day to reflect back upon the 19 years of my life!
